Job summary

A retail company in Southwestern Ontario is looking for a manager to supervise staff, assign duties, and manage inventory. You will be responsible for hiring and training personnel, authorizing payments, and preparing sales reports. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience and a high school graduation certificate. This is a permanent position offering 35 hours of work per week.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in retail or a related field.
  • Ability to hire, train, and supervise staff effectively.
  • Experience in sales and inventory management.

  • Assign sales workers to duties

  • Order merchandise
  • Authorize return of merchandise
  • Sell merchandise
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory
