A healthcare service organization in Hamilton, Ontario, is seeking a Retail Shift Supervisor to oversee store operations and ensure exemplary customer service. The ideal candidate will have a minimum grade 12 education and 1-3 years of experience in retail sales and customer service. Responsibilities include supervising volunteers, managing cash operations, and participating in store setup and inventory. Flexibility in working hours, including days, evenings, and weekends, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exemplary customer service.
  • Provide accurate and efficient service at cash and comply with procedures for daily balancing of the Point of Sale System.
  • Restocking in order to drive sale, ensure prices are correct and signage is appropriate and in good condition.
  • Participate in planning and executing of store set-up, assists with preparation and count of the yearend inventory.
  • Supervise and guide volunteers, assign tasks and distribute their daily work.
  • All other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

POSITION SUMMARY: The Retail Shift Supervisor reports directly to the Retail Site Manager and is responsible for maintaining store operations, performing daily functions/tasks and provide exemplary customer service in order to achieve sales budgets and maximize profit.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum grade 12 education
  • 1-3 years’ experience in retail sales and customer service

HOURS OF WORK
