Job Title: Restoration (Water) Technician

Shift: Monday to Friday, Days

Pay: $21.00-$26.00/hour (based on experience)

Location: Office in Burlington, ON (job sites are in Oakville, Burlington, & Mississauga regions)

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent hire

Start Date: Mid-December and January start dates available

Our client in Burlington is hiring a Restoration Technician to join their team! This company provides emergency response, restoration and reconstruction services to the insurance industry, residential, commercial, and industrial customers that have suffered property damage caused by fires, floods, winds, mold, and more! The ideal candidate would have long‑term experience in a similar technician role. This is a long‑term to permanent hire role with a successful and reputable company with lots of room to grow!

Job Duties
  • Responding to water, fire, mold, biohazard, and specialty cleaning jobs.
  • Performing water extraction, demolition, debris removal, and structural drying
  • Setting up restoration equipment
  • Cleaning, deodorization, water mitigation following IICRC S500, and mold remediation following IICRC S520.
  • Soot and smoke cleaning, pack‑out support, odor control, and general remediation tasks.
  • Loading, unloading, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining tools and equipment
  • Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly stocked.
  • Professional interaction with customers and adjusters is expected.
  • Participation in safety meetings and training
  • Work closely with Lead Technicians and Project Managers, support large‑ and small‑loss and multi‑day jobs, participate in on‑call rotation, and help maintain an organized warehouse
Candidate Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of related experience
  • Lifting up to 60lbs when needed
  • Previous experience in the restoration industry is an asset
  • Valid G Drivers license
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Works well with others
  • Must be willing to provide a criminal record search
