Job summary

A local restaurant in Durham Region is seeking a manager to oversee daily operations and staff supervision. Responsibilities include evaluating operations, training staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate daily operations.
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget.
  • Monitor revenues to determine labour cost.
  • Monitor staff performance.
  • Plan and organize daily operations.
  • Recruit staff.
  • Set staff work schedules.
  • Train staff.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Organize and maintain inventory.
