Job Description

The Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM) in the daily operations of Eataly’s full-service restaurants. Reporting to the Restaurant AGM, the Manager oversees front-of-house staff including servers, bartenders, food runners, hosts, bussers, and barbacks.

  • Assists with hiring, training, evaluating, and terminating staff
  • Documents, investigates, escalates, and resolves employee and guest incidents
  • Ensures high service standards are maintained and activities are effectively carried out
  • Inspects dining and storage areas for health and safety compliance
  • Manages food and beverage needs, supervises orders
  • Reviews sales, inventory, and costs to monitor budgets
  • Coordinates with staff for restaurant activities and special events
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience leading or managing a front-of-house restaurant team
  • Understanding of steps of service
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Restaurant Management or Hospitality preferred
  • Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverages highly preferred
Job Requirements
  • Availability to work onsite with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting
  • Food Handler’s License preferred
