As a Resource Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities
  • Managing and overseeing a team of Coordinators by providing direction, delegation and prioritization of tasks
  • Coaching, inspiring and mentoring a team of Coordinators
  • Providing real time feedback and written feedback
  • Working closely with Engagement Managers on resourcing needs for the Business Unit
  • Collaborating with other Resource Managers across the firm on both short-term and long-term projects
  • Communicating proactively amongst our internal team and stakeholders within the firm
  • Providing excellent internal client service by building and maintaining relationships with leaders across the firm
  • Identifying conflicts before they happen and helping to find solutions
  • Managing flow of work for long range engagements, considering leverage and optimization
  • Quickly adjusting to changes and staying agile in response to business needs, such as changes in structures and reporting

  • Post secondary education: Administration or Human Resources considered highly desirable
  • Minimum 3+ years working experience managing a team in an office environment, ideally in professional services
  • Experience in Resource Management or Project Management
  • Experience using Dynamics 365 considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Planner, Excel, Teams)
  • Strong organizational skills, with an eye for detail, curiosity to learn
