Job Title: Residential Property Accountant (4-Month Contract)

Salary : $25 - $35 / Hour - Hybrid (3 Days In-Office)

Our client is a successful and well-established property management company in the GTA. They are seeking a detail-oriented Residential Property Accountant to join their team for a 4-month contract. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of residential properties, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting property managers with financial insight.

Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of residential properties, including financial statement preparation and supporting schedules.
  • Oversee accounts receivable / payable, journal entries, recoveries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with property managers to ensure accurate financial records and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Owner account changes, and EFT processing.
  • Support team objectives with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience, with Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Business Administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi Voyager 7.12 experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
