The Opportunity

CBRE is seeking an individual to form an integral component of the North (office) Research Team in quarterly and weekly statistical reporting detailing the London office market. You will provide research and analysis support of commercial real estate markets.

The role will encompass certain routine tasks around the collection and analysis of core data, as well as a range of activities that contribute to and support the team’s production, lead generation/business development and delivery of research material.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain CBRE's internal leasing/sales database which contains new listing availabilities, transactions and properties.
  • Compile various ad-hoc research requests including but not limited to option packages, property one pagers, quarterly one-pagers, vacancy overviews and rental rate overviews.
  • Help maintain the capacity in the research department by assisting trainees and interns with various learning initiatives.
  • Perform routine tasks such as Teraview Accounting as well as monitoring services such as Geowarehouse and ZoomInfo.
  • Perform routine reporting for key clients such as KingSett Capital and provided a high level of service by tracking the sublease market in Toronto North area on a weekly basis
  • Gather and produce accurate real estate related information to determine market projections and trends.
  • Track and analyze market trends; produce ad hoc and quarterly written reports based on developing trends.
  • Create and analyze market statistics and corresponding materials, including the production of client presentations and reports.
  • Coordinate and complete ad hoc broker requests.
  • Obtain and record comparable lease and sale transactions for property specific appals, valuation and research.
  • Establish key contacts in the real estate industry.
  • Assisting Research Manager as requested
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university, preferably in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, Geography, and a minimum of one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of financial and real estate terminology and principles.
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
