Job description
Overview

Under the responsibility of the Business Development Manager, the position holder fulfills the responsibilities linked to sales and representation of the Concrete Restoration Systems (CRS) and / or Tile and Stone Installation Systems and / or Industrial Flooring divisions for the Prairies. Territory: Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Responsible for the territory growth, sales budget and business management of the designated territory consistent with corporate objectives through presentations of current and new products on the market
  • Represent the company with potential customers (distributors, consulting engineers, architects, contractors and installers)
  • Provide product training, communicate with clients regarding technical matters, handle complaints and influence buying decisions
  • Present written reports to management on territory activities and provide market intelligence
  • Perform cold calls / market solicitation regularly
  • Provide feedback on field testing of new or prototype formulas
  • Participate in the development of new products with Product Managers
  • Perform any other related tasks
Requirements
  • HSD or CD and 5 years of experience in the laying of floor coverings (ceramics, carpets, vinyl, wood) and / or in the applying of concrete products or industrial flooring
  • Knowledge of Mapei products
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Ability to deliver product training at a professional level
  • Valid driver's license
  • Very good spoken and written English
