About the Role:

We’re looking for a Remarketing Manager to join our Wholesale & Dealer Operations team! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of Canada’s largest used-car wholesalers and play a pivotal role in scaling our business. In this role, you’ll lead Clutch’s nationwide auction remarketing strategy - overseeing vehicle pricing, allocation, and performance across auctions like Adesa, EBlock, and TradeRev. You’ll manage and grow a team of remarketing specialists while building pricing frameworks, driving auction conversion, and implementing process improvements that will shape the future of Clutch’s wholesale operations across Canada.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the Remarketing Team: Manage and develop a team of remarketing specialists to price and sell over 1,000 cars weekly.
  • Own Auction Performance: Take responsibility for wholesale sell-through conversion at auctions (Adesa, EBlock, TradeRev, etc.), driving volume and profitability targets.
  • SetPricing Frameworks: Oversee the reserve-setting process, ensuring data-driven consistency across all wholesale units while adhering to time-to-sell and margin goals.
  • Optimize Auction Allocation: Develop and refine allocation strategies across auction platforms and geographies to maximize outcomes.
  • Represent Clutch with Partners: Act as the primary point of escalation with auctions, fostering strong relationships and resolving issues.
  • Drive Efficiency: Identify bottlenecks in the appraisal and auction lifecycle, streamline workflows, and implement tools or process changes to handle higher volumes.
  • Develop Reporting & KPIs: Establish and track performance metrics (conversion, reruns, margin, reserve-to-sale ratios) to hold the team accountable and inform strategy.

What we’re looking for:

  • Industry Experience: 5+ years in remarketing, auctions, or wholesale-related operations.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, coach, and scale a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong ability to interpret pricing data, auction results, and conversion metrics to drive decision making.
  • Relationship Builder: Strong communication skills and ability to represent Clutch with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Results-Driven: Motivated by clear KPIs and delivering on target.
  • Process Orientation: Skilled at building scalable workflows, eliminating inefficiencies, and managing complex operations.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ensure accuracy in condition reports and listings as well as pricing analysis.

It’d be great if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in remarketing, auctions, or wholesale-related operations.
  • Experience with online or physical auto auctions.

Why you’ll love it at Clutch:

  • Autonomy & ownership — create your own path, and own your work
  • Competitive compensation!
