We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Security Officer to fill a Casual position at the Dawson Creek & District Hospital.
In accordance with established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Supervisor, Relational Security Services, the Relational Security Services Officer maintains and enforces security of persons and property in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Dawson Creek & District Hospital is a Full Service Community Hospital that provides service to Dawson Creek and surrounding communities. It has 31 acute care beds and 15 regional adult psychiatric beds. Dawson Creek is the Orthopaedic Trauma and Surgical Centre for the Northeast Region of BC. Services include:

Dawson Creek Wide blue skies and the rolling foothills of the Northern Rockies surround Dawson Creek. The city is also known as the Mile Zero City, as it marks the start of the Alaska Highway, a 2,400 km long highway connecting Alaska and the Yukon to Western Canada and the United States. Dawson Creek has a population of approximately 12,500. It provides primary service to a population of approximately 20,000 and helps serve the larger population of the Peace River Region of 60,000.
