A dedicated veterinary practice in Langford is seeking a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to assist with clinical procedures and support student interns. The role includes a hands-on approach to patient care, a supportive team environment, and opportunities for continuing professional development. Candidates must have a year of experience in small animal practice and an interest in advancing their qualifications.

🩺 What You’ll Be Doing
No two days are the same! You’ll enjoy a varied and hands‑on role, including:
Hours: 37.5 per week
Weekends: Currently just 1 in 5 Saturdays, with no out‑of‑hours!

The main purpose of the post is to support the smooth operation of the clinical activities within the Langford Vet Practice.
Duties will include assisting with medical and surgical procedures, performing nurse clinics, promoting client communication and supervising BVSc, VNCAB students on clinical rotations and apprentice veterinary nurses.

Minimum of one year experience as an RVN working in small animal veterinary practice
Experience of supervising veterinary students
Able to carry out veterinary nursing duties as listed above
A1 Assessor or Clinical coach
Confidence and experience in effective handling and restraint of animals
Interest in advancing own qualifications
