Overview

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in clients' conditions
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to clients and their families
  • Educate clients and their families on health management and disease prevention
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client care
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education and training
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Practical Nurse
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
