Overview

On site. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
• Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
• Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team

Qualifications

• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
• Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged
• Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS); CPR Certificate
• Experience: Experience an asset
