Job summary

A faith-based aged care service in Toronto is seeking permanent Registered Nurses to join its team. The role involves leading fellow staff in providing quality care to elderly individuals. The Opportunity

We have opportunities for permanent Registered Nurses to join our Anglican Care aged care services in Lake Macquarie. You will have the ability to act as a team leader and mentor at ward level participating in effective teamwork and maintaining communication with colleagues to promote collaboration and facilitate the coordination of person‑centred care. Your strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills will prove invaluable as you work collaboratively with a range of staff.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Experience in palliative care knowledge of AN-ACC and providing high quality care of the ageing people

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    About you
    • Registered Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
    • Proven ability to deliver person centre care that respects the dignity and worth of the individual.
    • Current Senior First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement)
    • Able to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
    • National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
