Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication to delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Dawson Creek & District Hospital.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, the Registered Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), within a patient and family-centered care model.

The Registered Nurse - Perinatal, working collaboratively with the inter-professional team, plans and provides direct patient care to obstetrical patients during the intra, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum periods, as well as other assigned patients. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating nursing care. The nurse demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge, basing practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Evenings, 07:30 to 19:30, 19:30 to 07:00 (rotating)

Dawson Creek & District Hospital is a full-service community hospital serving Dawson Creek and surrounding communities. It has 31 acute care beds and 15 regional adult psychiatric beds. Dawson Creek is the orthopaedic trauma and surgical centre for the Northeast Region of BC. Services include:
