Qualifications

• Registered Nurse must be registered and in good standing.
• Must have CPR/First Aid Certificate.

• Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage resident admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Conduct resident assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Liaise with physicians, families, and care team members.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our The Gardens at Qualicum Beach team in Qualicum Beach, B.C.

Note: Bonus amounts presented are based on full-time employment. Part-time employees would earn a pro‑rata amount.

Shifts: PT 10:30 pm to 6:30 am, FRIDAY and SATURDAY, 5 off 2 on

Wage: as per the BCNU provincial agreement.

What does a Registered Nurse do?

• Resident admissions, discharges and transfers
• Resident assessments and care planning
• Administration of medications, treatments and wound care
• Proficient with electronic documentation (PointClickCare) and MDS Assessments
• Liaises with physicians, families and other members of the care team
• Delegates tasks to unregulated care providers

Charge Nurse responsibilities

Participates in Care Conferences and Medication reviews.

Qualifications
