Travel Registered Nurse (RN) needed for an Emergency Room assignment about 4 hours outside of Thunder Bay, Ontario. This contract offers $70+/hr accommodation provided, steady full time shifts through January 2026, and the chance to expand your acute care experience in both ER and inpatient settings.

About the Role

HealthOPM staffing agency is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with strong Emergency Room (ER) training and CTAS certification to join our client’s healthcare team. Inpatient Unit experience is required, and OBS experience is considered an asset. This is a temporary travel assignment through our staffing agency, offering housing and consistent scheduling.

Position Highlights

Pay: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience and qualifications)

Assignment Length: Immediate start until end of January 2026

Location: 4 hours from Thunder Bay, Ontario (accommodation provided)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department, using CTAS triage standards.

Support inpatient unit operations; OBS unit support is an asset.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff for optimal patient outcomes.

Provide compassionate, safe, and effective patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

Full-time rotating shifts, details to be confirmed with the client.

Qualifications

Current RN license with CNO (College of Nurses of Ontario) in good standing

ER training with CTAS certification (required)

OBS experience (asset)
