A regional health authority in Nanaimo is seeking a registered nurse to deliver direct nursing care in hospitals and communities. Candidates must have valid registration with the BC College of Nurses, recent experience in acute medical/surgical nursing, and completion of a basic arrhythmia interpretation course. This role emphasizes patient and staff safety, aligning with the organization’s values.

Reports to the Manager or designate. Plans and provides direct nursing care to patients/residents in the hospital or in the community in accordance with the unit/program philosophy, competency guidelines, policies, and the BCCNM Standards for Nursing Practice in British Columbia.
Education, Training And Experience
Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant. Recent experience in acute medical/surgical nursing, and completion of a basic arrhythmia interpretation course, or an equivalent combination of education, skills and training.
