Position Details
  • Employment Type: Contractor
  • Compensation: Fee-for-service
  • Start Date: June 9, 2025
  • Hours: Flexible schedule, Monday to Saturday
  • Experience: Not required but preferred
Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial client assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Perform various massage techniques, including deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and stretching exercises
  • Educate clients on posture, self-care, and stress management techniques
  • Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes
  • Collaborate with physiotherapists, chiropractors, and medical professionals for integrated client care
  • Manage client appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling
  • Ensure a clean and comfortable treatment environment
  • Participate in marketing and community outreach events
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
  • Completion of a 2,200-hour massage therapy program
  • Membership in a recognized Alberta massage therapy association (MTAA, CRMTA, NHPC)
