Job description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Regional Merchandising Supervisor to oversee retail merchandisers for locations in Pickering/Scarborough/Markham/Oshawa/Ajax.

This role involves guiding and working alongside teams to execute merchandising strategies, ensuring adherence to brand standards, and driving sales through attractive and effective displays.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to travel 2-3 days a week within their region on Mon, Thurs & Sat.

This role is year-round and representatives must be available to start work at 8am.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage merchandising teams across multiple locations to ensure consistency in product display.
  2. Adhere to visual merchandising directives that are set out for each location according to a planogram.
  3. Train and support staff on best practices for product presentation and store relationship building.
  4. Conduct site visits to assess merchandising standards and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of experience in retail merchandising, preferably within the horticultural industry.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Creative and innovative thinking with attention to detail.
  5. Passion for strong customer service.
