• Minimum one year experience driving with DZ licence or AZ MELT graduate from an accredited driving school.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate waste collection/recycling vehicle.
• Load curbside materials into the truck.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

Job Summary

Driver/Loader operates waste collection and recycling vehicles, loads curbside materials, completes assigned routes safely and efficiently, provides excellent customer service, and performs pre- and post-trip inspections in compliance with company policies.

Position Description

• Operate waste collection/recycling vehicle;
• Load curbside materials into the truck;
• Observe safe work practices;
• Provide excellent customer service in accordance with company policies;
• Ensure assigned routes are successfully completed in a timely and safe manner;
• Conduct pre- and post trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Ontario DZ driver’s licence with a clean drivers abstract and CVOR;
• Minimum one year experience driving with DZ licence OR an AZ MELT graduate from an accredited driving school;
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs;
• As this is a safety-sensitive position, successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required;
• Successful completion of a criminal background check;
• Punctual, reliable, team player.
