We are currently seeking a Recreation Therapist-Educator to join our Advantage Assist team at our head office in West Edmonton. This is a permanent part-time position (22.5 hours biweekly).

As a Recreation Therapist-Educator with Advantage Assist, you will:

• Research, develop, and update best practices, procedures, and resources.
• Mentor and support recreation staff.
• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate safe, person-centered recreation programs that respect resident choice, safety, and individual needs.
• Support residents and families by promoting independence, dignity, and well-being, and educate on the benefits of recreation for holistic health.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts.
• Travel periodically throughout Alberta to support our sites.

What you bring:
