Join our team! AGF is seeking a Rebar Technical Coordinator to join our dynamic team based in Markham or Kitchener. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for the technical execution of some of our several construction projects in the province of Ontario.

About The Role – Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
  • Review detailers’ drawings to make sure there are no errors and that they comply with Canadian and government standards;
  • Releasing bar lists for the manufacturing of reinforcing steel with specified lengths, diameters, and bending requirements;
  • Produce placing drawings according to Structural Drawings;
  • Schedule and plan on-site delivery of rebar;
  • Drafting RFIs for the Project Manager to send to clients;
  • Suggesting and implementing technical solutions to improve site and project outcomes;
  • Monitoring the drawing submission schedule in accordance with the project timeline;
  • Communicate regularly with Project Managers.
About You – The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
  • A degree or diploma in technical engineering, architecture, or building design;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience detailing rebar;
  • Proficiency in design and drafting using AutoCAD;
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills;
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings;
  • Capacity to work under pressure and strong problem-solving skills.
