Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 or higher with air brake endorsement.
• Ability to squat, kneel, crawl under an 18-inch clearance.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience in commercial driving preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate test vehicle/detector car on and off railroad tracks.
• Perform vehicle inspections and equipment setup.
• Record and interpret data on computer monitors.
• Service and maintain the vehicle and detector carriage.

Skills

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Basic mechanical tasks

Ability to lift and carry up to 85 lbs.

Ability to squat, kneel, crawl for extended periods

Education

HS Diploma or GED
