Key Responsibilities
  • Process pari-mutuel transactions
  • Balance and reconcile a cash float, provide monetary change to guests
  • Count and verify opening and closing floats for all coin, currency, and marketing items
  • Count and physically lay out cash according to established company policies and procedures
  • Record transactions in software and verify printed reports
  • Maintain current knowledge of products, events, and promotions
What You Bring
  • Minimum 6 months of cash handling experience
  • Ability to add and multiply; balance floats/spreadsheets
  • Ability to pull, lift, and carry objects such as a cashier tray
  • Good manual dexterity to accurately handle cash and tickets
  • Knowledge of horse racing and pari-mutuel betting an asset
