Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Location: Kelowna, BC (On-site)
Overview
A leading aviation technology company is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their growing team in Kelowna. This position is hands-on within the manufacturing facility, where you’ll be responsible for inspecting components, monitoring supplier quality, and ensuring all products meet strict industry, customer, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming parts, in-process work, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Review final products for cosmetic standards and confirm documentation and traceability are complete.
- Sign off Transport Canada Form Ones and Certificates of Conformance.
- Participate in First Article Inspections and internal/external audits.
- Partner with suppliers to address non-conformances, support root-cause investigations, and track corrective actions.
- Maintain supplier scorecards and performance reports, escalating issues as needed.
- Record findings, prepare detailed inspection reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure calibration of tools and equipment used across manufacturing, receiving, and maintenance.
- Contribute to updates of quality procedures and manuals to keep processes aligned with requirements.
- Support health and safety initiatives and maintain a safe working environment.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with internal and external audit processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for technical documentation and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in electronics, avionics, or satellite communications.
- Understanding of aviation hardware and design.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
