Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with internal and external audit processes.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming parts, in-process work, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Review final products for cosmetic standards and confirm documentation and traceability are complete.
  • Sign off Transport Canada Form Ones and Certificates of Conformance.
  • Participate in First Article Inspections and internal/external audits.
  • Partner with suppliers to address non-conformances, support root-cause investigations, and track corrective actions.
  • Maintain supplier scorecards and performance reports, escalating issues as needed.
  • Record findings, prepare detailed inspection reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure calibration of tools and equipment used across manufacturing, receiving, and maintenance.
  • Contribute to updates of quality procedures and manuals to keep processes aligned with requirements.
  • Support health and safety initiatives and maintain a safe working environment.

Overview

A leading aviation technology company is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their growing team in Kelowna. This position is hands-on within the manufacturing facility, where you’ll be responsible for inspecting components, monitoring supplier quality, and ensuring all products meet strict industry, customer, and regulatory standards.

What You Bring

  • Familiarity with internal and external audit processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for technical documentation and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in electronics, avionics, or satellite communications.
  • Understanding of aviation hardware and design.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
