Pay Range: $34 - $39 / hour

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is a progressive and well-established Department of Defense (DoD) contractor specializing in range operations and maintenance, including weapons testing, facilities management, aerial, ground, and seaborne targets, technical, logistics, and engineering support, systems integration, electronics and communications maintenance services, and cybersecurity. We operate a dozen active test and training ranges for the Army, Air Force, and Navy, supporting complex DoD programs with high-quality services and customer satisfaction.

We currently support the Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWCAD) and the Webster Outlying Field Divisions by providing engineering, prototyping, reverse-engineering, environmental testing, antenna repairs, lifecycle extensions, and production capabilities.

We are hiring a Quality Control Inspector at our St. Inigoes, MD facility to implement quality control and safety plans ensuring compliance with contract specifications and regulations.

The basic job functions include:

1. Implementing quality control and safety plans for compliance.
2. Inspecting goods, services, or operations for conformity to standards.
3. Ensuring services meet performance requirements.
4. Specifying inspection areas and schedules.
5. Communicating deficiencies, maintaining inspection records.
6. Reviewing quality requirements and necessary controls.
7. Updating inspection and testing techniques and processes.

Work Conditions:

• Primarily indoor work with varying conditions.
• Physical activity includes standing (45%), bending (20%), reaching (15%), sitting (5%), walking (5%), lifting (10%).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, or business discipline, or relevant experience:
• Six years of relevant experience can substitute for a degree.
• Associate's degree plus four years of relevant experience can substitute for a bachelor's.

• Minimum of three years' relevant DoD experience.
• Current Maryland Driver’s License and ability to drive government or rental vehicles.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Background screening including SSN, driving record, and criminal check.
