Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months
Responsibilities
- Involve in both manual testing and all aspects of automation (plan, script, execute, analyze and report) using organization’s framework/tools and standards
- As a QA Engineer, you will be driving both manual and automation testing under the direction of overall QA vision and strategy.
- Main point of contact for the project/product team for all things related to testing.
- Work with team members (PM/Scrum Masters, Dev, and Business Owners) to understand objectives and map out testing and automation requirements.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the automation framework.
- Support all test activities, enhance, develop, and execute automated/manual test scripts, record and track software discrepancies and issues
- Perform different levels of testing based on business requirements – Sanity, Functional, Regression, Integration and Performance testing.
- Create QA deliverables including but not limit to test plan, test cases and automation support documents.
- Work with JIRA, Confluence and qTest for test case management, defect management, test reporting and other functions
Must Have Skills
- A relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
- 3+ years of QA Testing experience with a minimum 1 year in Test Automation
- Comfortable in SQL Queries (simple joins and aggregate functions, etc.)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in web automation development using Python or similar languages.
- Working knowledge of automations tools and frameworks. (Selenium, Python, Pytest, Alure)
- Proficient in Test Management tools like JIRA and qTest.
- Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
