The job includes designing colour schemes, conducting general painting tasks, and minor maintenance work. Applicants must have journeyman certification and three years experience in the painting trade. The role involves working both inside and outside and requires a valid B.C. Driver's License. School District No. 83 is presently seeking qualified individuals to apply for the Trade Qualified PAINTER position. This is a Regular 40 Hours per week CUPE union position, and the rate of pay is $37.74 per hour, with competitive benefit package and 12 months of a year.

The work will be inside and outside work. Most outside work will be scheduled during the warmer months. Travel to all School District facilities required, transportation may be provided to job site. Appropriate painting coveralls (white) must be supplied and worn by trades person. Appropriate personal safety equipment is to be supplied and worn by the trades person. May be required to report directly to the worksite.
