Pursuit Jasper Adventure Center Supervisor
Overview

Location: 86 Connaught Dr, Jasper, AB. Pay: $20 per hour. Job type: Seasonal, Full-time. Start: June 2025; End: October 31, 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure each PAC team member provides an interactive and professional product, attraction and retail sales or resolution experience.
  • Collaborate with the Retail & PAC Manager, Banff Outlets to deliver seamless, integrated service.
  • Collaborate with the Maligne Valley Retail Manager to ensure retail products are stocked and merchandised correctly.
  • Maintain attraction and retail targets; assist with the implementation of promotional items.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with affiliates.
  • Work with the central reservations department on booking practices and product knowledge.
  • Deliver a memorable guest experience by applying standard operating procedures related to PAC operations, safety and employee engagement.
  • Serve as on-the-floor daily operations lead and provide support to Guest Experience agents as needed.
  • Operate as a sales agent during required shifts; support coverage as needed.
  • Address service recovery issues with support from central reservations or Maligne Lake guest services; escalate to management as appropriate.
  • Complete daily and weekly sales tracking reporting.
  • Coordinate ticket agent staffing with Hotel Front Desk and the Jasper PAC office, including scheduling collaboration.
  • Manage daily cash handling and POS operations, including cash floats, change orders and cash-outs.
  • Coordinate with Jasper attractions guest services to schedule FIT activity and maximize visitation.
  • Ensure retail inventory and fixtures are well stocked and clean at all times.
Qualifications
  • Previous supervisory, point of sale, cash handling and reconciliation experience.
  • Strong hospitality-focused approach with ability to listen and empathize with guests and staff.
  • Passion for coaching and developing employees with a safety-first mindset.
  • Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated team player with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks; adaptable to changing conditions.
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing personality; comfortable engaging with guests and resort operators.
  • Competent administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment without direct supervision.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and working outdoors in varied weather; ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Class 5 driver’s license (clean abstract) is an asset.
  • Must meet the organization grooming and appearance standards.
  • Consent to a criminal record check as part of our “Always Honest” policy.
