A leading rehabilitation service provider in Kingston is seeking a Psychologist to join their multidisciplinary team. The role involves conducting psychological assessments, providing treatment for complex conditions, and collaborating with mental health professionals. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Psychology and be registered with the College of Psychologists. Bilingual skills are an asset. Location:Lifemark Blackburn & Taylor Kidd ( 12-790 Blackburn Mews, Kingston ON K7P 2N6)
Status: Full Time @ 32 hrs/week
Lifemark Physiotherapy Blackburn & Taylor Kidd clinicis a multi-disciplinary physiotherapy rehabilitation clinic located in the west-end of Kingston.
Our aim is to provide the community with a comprehensive personal rehabilitation approach by providing client-centered care.
We have a brand new modern facility that provides our community with access to physiotherapy, massage therapy, psychotherapy and occupational therapy all under one roof.
We are excited about our partnership with Partners in Canadian Veterans Rehabilitation Services (PCVRS), the national contractor for the administration and delivery of medical, psycho-social and vocational rehabilitation services with both multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams (i.e., physiotherapy, kinesiology, occupational therapy, vocational rehab specialist, case coordinators) and interdisciplinary mental health teams (psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors, social workers, occupational therapists).
This offers a greater opportunity to have a more consistent approach to care that is holistic and integrated, improving experiences for both providers and participants.
The PCVRS work is a major component of this role, where you will be able to leverage your psychological competencies as a trusted subject-matter expert to apply evidence-based and process expertise to meaningful step-care mental health programs across the mental health continuum (prevention, monitoring and intervention).
