Consultant, Proposal Strategy - Emerging Biopharma

Overview

IQVIA is a global leader in clinical development, Real World Evidence, and commercialization across the life sciences industry. We partner with emerging biopharma and biotech companies to develop deeper understanding of patients and market dynamics from clinical through commercial stages. We are looking for a Proposal Consultant to support new and existing client relationships.

In this role you will:
  • Work closely with senior team members across the entire spectrum of services that IQVIA offers to precommercial and small pharma companies
  • Develop customer‑focused consultative proposals that tell a cohesive, logical story
  • Execute the process of responding to RFPs from end to end
  • Support enablement of the EBP sales team by developing and maintaining templates, playbooks, best practices, and other artifacts
  • Drive continuous improvement in value that EBP IST brings to the broader IQVIA EBP team
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the development of proposals and client solutions; include documentation for internal briefings, clear communication of timelines, deadlines, and expectations, and drive market landscape understanding
  • Aid EBP Proposal Strategy Principal and sales leads in integrating diverse stakeholders for RFP responses and developing integrated IQVIA solutions
  • Create proposal storyboards, PowerPoint/Word content, and high‑quality slides with IQVIA voice
  • Project‑manage proposal process, ensuring high‑quality deliverables, on‑time submission, and senior reviewer alignment
  • Perform final QC/editing of proposals with maximum attention to detail, and coordinate internal rehearsals for presentations
  • Curate, maintain, and share a library of templates, best‑in‑class slides, case studies, and tools to maximize proposal efficiency
Qualifications
  • BA or BS in relevant field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of relevant industry experience with minimum 2 years of proposal development experience (preferred)
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Word
  • Attention to detail, strong grammar and language skills, and ability to QC/edit under tight timelines
  • Proven collaboration with stakeholders in high‑stakes settings
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
  • Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to plan, multitask, and prioritize with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
