Job description

Compensation: $32 – $37 / hour (full-time / permanent)

Are you an expert in the trades? Can you tell the difference between superior and excellent work? Are you a born leader with exceptional customer service abilities? If you answered yes to those questions, the Project Supervisor role at On Side might be the job you’re looking for.

Project Supervisors work directly with multiple Project Managers to ensure the correct execution and timely completion of projects. They supervise operations personnel and work on various projects in the field, ensuring they are always on the move. With extensive construction/restoration experience, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for completing work on time and under budget, the Project Supervisor is key to On Side’s success.

Project Supervisors are responsible for:

  1. Leadership and coaching of field staff
  2. Health & Safety on job sites
  3. Leading large teams on site (sometimes multiple sites), including in-house staff and sub-trades, while collaborating with other tradespeople, vendors, clients, and environmental consultants
  4. Monitoring and maintaining schedules, communicating with stakeholders regularly to ensure customer satisfaction
  5. Documentation of site visits and job progress
  6. Weekly fleet checks
  7. Site safety inspections

What you bring:

  1. Previous restoration experience or strong demonstrated knowledge of it
  2. 5 years of construction-related experience
  3. 2 years in a supervisory role
  4. Leadership abilities and a preference for teamwork
  5. Work ethic and the ability to inspire this in others
  6. Technical savvy, with the ability to document and upload work progress
  7. Strong organizational skills
  8. Valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record (we do check)

Other qualifications that will help you succeed:

  1. Skilled trades or IICRC certifications
  2. Knowledge of basic drying concepts and equipment usage
  3. Standard First Aid certification
  4. Physical fitness

Of Note:

Major disasters can occur at any time, so after-hours on-call work may be required during major weather events.
