Job description

This permanent Project Manager role is a hybrid position with a salary band of $115k-$125k.

Mandate

• Plan, oversee, and manage information security projects to ensure timely, budget‑aligned, and goal‑oriented delivery.
• Coordinate internal and external teams, defining resources and ensuring stakeholder engagement across all phases.
• Monitor project progress, risks, and issues while upholding information security control requirements and reporting regularly.

Key Accountabilities

• Project Leadership: Develop detailed project plans, lead multiple information security initiatives from initiation to post‑implementation, and ensure compliance with InfoSec standards.
• Stakeholder & Partner Management: Maintain transparent communication with executives and delivery partners, coordinate cross‑functional resources, and manage dependencies and risks.
• Financial & Compliance Oversight: Develop and maintain project budgets, oversee change management and transition processes, and uphold the organization’s cybersecurity posture (ISO27001, NIST).

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; PMP/PMI certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ project management experience in information security, with proficiency in tools like MS Project or JIRA.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with proven success managing remote and cross‑functional teams.
