We bring together world‑leading pharmaceutical organizations, several Canadian biotech companies, the best researchers from the public and private sectors, as well as the Canadian and Quebec governments. Our collaborative approach bridges the funding gap needed to drive innovation, especially where early‑stage research is concerned.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Senior Director of Scientific Affairs, the successful candidate will play an active role in various aspects of CQDM’s multidisciplinary and collaborative projects, with a primary focus on coordinating the projects under their supervision to ensure that objectives and milestones are achieved. This is a temporary, one‑year position to cover a maternity leave.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a key member of the CQDM team and reporting to the Director of Scientific Affairs, you will play an active role in driving the success of multidisciplinary, collaborative projects funded by CQDM. You’ll work hand‑in‑hand with colleagues and researchers to plan, monitor, and deliver high‑impact innovation projects. Beyond project coordination, you may also contribute to project evaluation and other activities that support CQDM’s mission to fund and accelerate innovation. In this role, you will:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the projects under your supervision from start to finish.
  • Partner closely with CQDM’s Business Development team to ensure seamless knowledge transfer across projects.
  • Stay in regular contact with researchers to track progress and keep projects on course.
  • Guarantee that all required documents are delivered on time and meet the standards of CQDM, funding partners, and sponsors.
  • Take ownership of documentation management and the logistics of project‑related processes.
  • Work with CQDM‑funded researchers to build and maintain Gantt charts that track project timelines and progress.
  • Drive the follow‑up on milestones and deliverables, collaborating with researchers and the CQDM team to resolve challenges.
  • Monitor key performance indicators for CQDM‑funded projects and report on outcomes.
  • Contribute actively to project monitoring committee meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS
