Salary – $60,000 - $70,000 - based on experience

A well-established construction firm serving government, commercial, and industrial markets is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join its growing team. Known for tackling complex builds with innovative solutions, the company uses in-house trades to deliver a wide range of specialized services. Projects include high-security environments, community centres, bridge replacements, pumping stations, and office fit-ups—both locally and internationally.

Position Summary:
The Junior Project Manager will assist in coordinating and managing construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Working under the guidance of senior project staff, this role is ideal for someone eager to grow within a dynamic and solution-oriented team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the planning, execution, and tracking of construction projects.
Assist with scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and documentation.
Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and internal trades to ensure project milestones are met.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, safety, and progress.
Identify and help resolve issues or delays in a proactive manner.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders as required.
Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a construction or project coordination role is an asset.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is an advantage.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
