Your Mission

As a Project Manager in Essilor Canada, you will enhance business processes within Operations, lead and implement projects, and collaborate across departments to identify opportunities for improvement, support change initiatives, and manage project timelines effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple projects within Operations
  • Support transformation initiatives: new products, processes, equipment, layouts
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver value-added projects
  • Understand and communicate customer needs effectively
  • Drive continuous improvement for sustainable and automated processes
  • Communicate effectively across teams to resolve issues
  • Conduct needs analysis, implement actions, and follow-up
  • Develop and monitor schedules, budgets, plans, and risks
  • Establish KPIs for project management
  • Create tools and methodologies for best practices
  • Manage continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency
  • Participate in process improvements to maximize productivity and reduce costs
  • Collect and analyze data for improvement opportunities
  • Promote project management and continuous improvement tools
  • Identify and resolve project issues
Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant field
  • 5+ years experience in project management or continuous improvement
  • Master's degree and PMP certification are assets
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is an asset
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and ERP systems is preferred
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and influence across functions
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Experience in optics is an asset
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
