The YMCA Of Southwestern New Brunswick is a charity offering opportunities for personal growth, community involvement and leadership. The Glenn Carpenter Center, located on Foster Thurston, offers Member programs in an Outdoors setting unlike any other location in Saint John. It offers more than 250 acres of forest, its own private lake, trails, an archery field, a sports field, a beach and much more. This allowing children, Youth, Teens and adults to learn new skills and participate in some of their favorite activities Year round.
The Program Leader supports the delivery of scheduled member programs and rental activities at the Glenn Carpenter Centre. This role involves facilitating a variety of recreational, creative, and outdoor experiences in a welcoming and safe environment. Program Leaders will have to follow a schedule and are expected to work independently and collaboratively with other staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
Starting salaries are based on skills and experience and typically fall between the minimum and mid-point of the range. The YMCA also offers opportunities for growth, regular reviews for progression, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in our community.
