The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for an Air System Integration Engineer (ATA 21, 30, 36) to join our Hydromechanical Systems Centre of Competence team in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). In this role, you will be in charge of integrating and managing the complete lifecycle of these air management systems, including technical modifications, supplier management, production support and flight testing.
You will be part of the Air/Pneumatic Systems Engineering team responsible for ensuring the performance, airworthiness and certification of the pressurization, engine bleed air, air conditioning, and anti-icing systems of the A220, as well as the low and high pressure pneumatic ducting. The team organization promotes cross‑collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role as Integrated Air Management Systems Integration Engineer (ATA 21, 30, 36) will be to collaborate with various suppliers and a Multi‑Functional Team (MFT) where you will ensure the execution of projects by guaranteeing their performance in terms of Time, Cost, Quality and Technical Performance.

Lead the development, qualification and certification of air systems (ATA 21, 30, 36) on the A220.
Manage technical relations with suppliers (including chairing IPDT meetings) and approve their deliverables.
Ensure the role of technical focal point for the end‑to‑end integration of modifications (PCR, RFC).
Support the Final Assembly Line (FAL) and perform root‑cause analyses for in‑service and production issues.
Define and verify the requirements of air systems (electrical, mechanical, etc.) with interfaced systems (avionics, electrical).
Participate in the preparation of test procedures (test bench, ground, flight) and assist with tests.
Coordinate technical activities with internal functions (Production, Customer Support, Program).
Present and report on the progress of projects to different management levels.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering or a related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in the design, development, integration and certification of aeronautical systems.
Solid experience in air systems (ATA 21 – Pressurization/AC, ATA 30 – Anti‑Icing, ATA 36 – Pneumatic).
Familiar with FAR 25/CAR 525 certification processes and knowledge of regulatory requirements from authorities.
Knowledge of RTCA DO‑160 & DO‑178 processes and/or experience with ARP4754.
Professional proficiency in English and French (written and oral).
Demonstrated ability for presentations and technical reports.
Ability to work autonomously and integrate into an international team.
This position may occasionally involve professional travel worldwide. Possible on‑call duties during week‑ends and/or holiday seasons.
