Responsibilities

  • Supervise all H&S Meetings and coordinate Risk Assessment.
  • Motivate and develop Team Leaders by setting objectives.
  • Decide the daily departmental production plan.
  • Liaise cross-functionally to drive process improvement.
  • Manage materials usage and investigate over usage.
  • Monitor compliance with Compass policies and food safety standards.
  • Plan departmental labor usage to manage costs.
  • Prepare departments for internal and external visitors.
  • Liaise and communicate Engineering issues for timely resolution.
  • Monitor site security and confidentiality.
  • Manage hygiene and ensure compliance.

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor will oversee production, team, and facility within the unit.

Now, If You Were To Come On Board As One Of Our Production Supervisors, We’d Ask You To Do The Following For Us

  • Supervise all H&S Meetings and co-ordinate Risk Assessment completion
  • Motivate and develop the Team Leaders by setting individual and departmental objectives to encourage the achievement of goals.
  • Identify skills gaps and initiate recruitment and training as appropriate.
  • Decide the daily departmental production plan with the Team Leaders & Planning dept to optimize the effective and efficient running of the department to achieve agreed service levels and outbound vehicle times.
  • Liaise, cross functionally, to resolve operating problems and drive continuous process improvement across the department.
  • Manage materials usage; investigate materials over usage, waste, dept stocks.
  • Monitor and manage as appropriate, compliance with Compass policies, procedures and specifications (including Technical, HR and Health & Safety policies) in order to achieve food safety standards, controlled and well-managed department.
  • Plan all departmental labor usage to manage costs to agreed targets
  • Prepare and organize the departments for internal and external visitors, effectively promoting the site.
  • Liaise and communicate any Engineering issues to ensure a timely resolution, enabling agreed maintenance and prevention & OEE targets.
  • Monitor and sustain site security and confidentiality at all times.
  • Manage hygiene, Liaise with the Technical department to ensure hygiene levels maintained throughout the departments.
  • Responsible for cooking, chilling process and metal detection system proper function and monitoring.
