Overview

Position Title: Production Supervisor

Department: Manufacturing

Location: Rosenort, MB

The Opportunity

Supervise and coordinate activities of manufacturing workers to assure quality and timely production of agricultural machinery. Plan, direct and coordinate the shift production in conjunction with other Production Supervisory personnel. Responsible for implementation of manufacturing methods, procedures, and best practices. Develop and coordinate a diverse team and set priorities for production schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Review production plan and ensure all resources, machines, and personnel are being utilized effectively
  • Track and record personnel and equipment OEE and required metrics to ensure all resources are being utilized effectively
  • Identify and communicate safety and quality issues
  • Ensure all company policies and operating procedures including quality and health & safety guidelines are always followed
  • Perform weekly safety audits, identify hazards and implement corrective actions, including completion of all required forms. Close out ALL action items – PDCA
  • Perform regular quality audits to ensure all proper quality procedures are being followed. Ensure that all TQCs are being completed and follow-up with quality department and close out all NCR corrective actions – PDCA
  • Engage all employees, new applicants in identifying employee skill levels and training/advancement opportunities
  • Ensure production processes are being followed within the specific department
  • Sustain all manufacturing, quality, and safety processes
  • Performance Management
  • Regularly provide feedback on employee performance, including employee reviews
  • Maintain accountability and record all metrics in your area
  • Inventory Management & Process Control
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • 3-5 Years of experience working in a manufacturing or agriculture background
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Innovative, ability to identify and implement new processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the team and project
