Overview

One of our manufacturing clients in Milton, ON is looking for a Production Supervisor to join their facility.

Pay - $90K-$100K per year + benefits

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and output targets
  • Lead, train, and motivate production staff, including operators, machine technicians, and labourers
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards (Lockout/Tagout, PPE, WHMIS, etc.)
  • Monitor production schedules, workflow, and equipment utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
  • Troubleshoot production issues, equipment malfunctions, and process bottlenecks in real time
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to plan preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns
  • Enforce quality control procedures and investigate non-conformances and defects
  • Conduct regular safety meetings, performance reviews, and shift handovers
  • Track and analyze KPIs such as productivity, scrap rates, downtime, and labour efficiency
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen
  • Maintain accurate production reports, shift logs, and incident documentation
  • Coordinate with planning, logistics, and engineering teams to meet customer and delivery requirements
