Job DescriptionJob Description

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Production Operator position with a Lead Oxide Processing Mill in Vancouver, WA. The person will be responsible for operating a forklift, monitoring mill activity, and performing quality control.

Shift: Full-Time. Must be open to both Swing and Graveyard after training on days.

Pay: $22.50/hr

Operator Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and adjust mill settings for optimal performance.

  • Respond to mill alerts and react quickly to troubleshoot appropriate action.

  • Inspect and ensure the quality of the finished product.

  • Operate a forklift to move materials and equipment safely.

  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

  • Record operational data and report any issues to supervisors.

  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes.

Operator Requirements:

  • Forklift experience.

  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials up to 90 pounds sometimes and 60 pounds regularly.

  • Willingness to work in a dusty, noisy environment.

  • Ability to stand for long periods and walk up and down stairs throughout the day.

  • Ability and willingness to be clean shaven and wear a respirator for up to 8 hours a day.

  • Willingness to submit to blood draws once every 2 months.

  • 18+ years of .

  • Pre-employment drug and background screening.

Operator Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a mill or other fast paced production environment.

  • Knowledge of production processes and quality control.

  • Basic understanding of machinery and mechanical operations.
