The Enterprise Technology team supports insights with data and the technical systems that give our teams leverage to achieve their objectives. We work cross-functionally with Asana’s business teams to understand their goals and ensure they receive the data and technical support they need to flourish.

We’re looking for an experienced Product Owner to join Asana’s MarTech team. Marketing Technology (MarTech) is a key pillar within Asana’s Enterprise technology function and is focused on supporting the Go-To-Market strategy and execution by binding tools, technology, data initiatives to drive growth and scale.

As an experienced MarTech Product Owner you will own the technology strategy, roadmap, and delivery of our marketing technology stack on the digital side (enabling personalization with customer data platforms via channels like email, web, academy) driving growth, operational efficiency, and insight generation. You’ll partner closely with Digital, analytics and data teams to orchestrate an integrated stack and introduce AI-powered capabilities that improve key business levers through adoption, retention initiatives.

This role is based in our Vancouver office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What You’ll Achieve:
  • Define MarTech vision, value based roadmap aligned to marketing and business goals and outcomes, translate marketing use cases into clear product requirements.
  • Serve as product DRI with Digital leadership to run intake, prioritization, and an operating cadence.
  • Drive scalable, innovative pilots for AI/LLM use cases such as audience building, content generation, segmentation, predictive scoring, next-best-action
  • Partner with analytics team to stand up experimentation frameworks for digital initiatives and derive insights to inform strategies
  • Own Digital MarTech stack with an architect mindset (current state evaluations, gap analysis, future state improvements). Platforms in scope include : Iterable, Segment CDP, Email preference systems & deliverability, Academy platforms, Creative systems like Bynder (SkillJar, Discourse, Accredible), personalization platforms like Optimizely
About You:
  • 5+ years of experience scaling high growth enterprises in a product setting owning technology roadmap, vision and business outcomes.
  • Has experience defining effective CDP strategy and personalization efforts that has resulted in measurable business outcomes.
  • Have an understanding of PLG/ SLG motions
  • Thrive in a highly demanding, cross functional & agile l environment working with diverse stakeholder
  • Experience mentoring, coaching product owners in a global setting
  • Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $100,000-$115,000 CAD. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
