Must Haves / Mandatory Skills
- Knowledge and understanding of application and technology architecture definition and integration needs related to shared infrastructure and middleware
- Experience and knowledge in providing logical technology analysis at functional level
- Experience with Platform services, APIs and databases
- Knowledge of the design and architecture of cloud deployments
- Knowledge of Unix scripting & deployment automations
- Knowledge of development frameworks/technologies
- Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of products and services
- A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
General Skills
- Experience delivering PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Experience working with external third parties to assess COTS products and compatibility
- Experience running beta and pilot programs with early-stage software products and services
- A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines, managing competing priorities and client relationship management experience
Desirable Skills
- Experience with virtualization technologies; VMware, Server virtualization; and within the following application development frameworks: Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, AngularJS, Python, Node.JS, HTML, JavaScript, C++, SQL, API, Microservices, and container technologies
- 10+ years experience in planning, designing, implementing, evaluating, and analyzing large transactional middleware platform with distributed computing
- Strong working/architecture knowledge of N-Tier environments, Client and Unix platforms, Cloud Computing, Networking
- Technology vision and architectural leadership
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture gating processes
- Knowledge of the technology aspects of Service-Oriented and Container/ Component-based architecture and design
- Knowledge and understanding of OPS Corporate I&IT information architecture strategy, policies, plans, current and emerging IT architecture principles, methodologies, mechanisms and techniques, to analyze, develop and implement application and technology architecture
