Our WSP ERI Metals and Mining group has an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer to join their Metallurgy group in one of our GTA offices.

Your Impact
  • Analyze and interpret metallurgical data to support material selection and performance for major infrastructure and mining projects.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for material durability and sustainability.

  • Contribute to process design and development on metallurgical and mineral processing projects.

  • Conduct hazard and operability studies to ensure safety and reliability of critical components.

  • Prepare technical reports and recommendations that influence project decisions and client strategies.

  • Champion sustainable practices in metallurgy to reduce environmental impact and enhance lifecycle performance.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science.
  • Eligibility for P.ENG license or eligibility for Professional Engineering designation in Canada.
  • Knowledge of metallurgical testing methods, corrosion analysis, and material characterization.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and tools such as ASTM, ISO, and metallurgical lab equipment.

Compensation
  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $85,100 – $112,800
  • MB & ON: $77,700 – $107,000
  • NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $76,900 – $102,100
