The Process Control & Integrity Coordinator is a key member of the management team and plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and optimized operation of the Timmins site.
This position oversees process control systems, site integrity programs, and core process safety management activities. The role supports daily plant operations and long-term reliability by maintaining compliance with Guidance Notes, process control standards, and all regulatory and company requirements.
You are a driving force for continuous improvement in safety, automation, operational performance, and equipment integrity.
Plan, schedule, and execute process control and automation projects.
Design and implement control system upgrades and changes (PLC/DCS/SCADA).
Ensure IT/OT systems are up to date with patches, software updates, and hardware capabilities.
Maintain process historian tools, process transparency, alarms, and reporting functions.
Oversee all electrical and automation documentation (drawings, updates, MOC changes, standards).
Manage site integrity programs (electrical, instrumentation, fixed/rotating equipment).
Ensure inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance are completed on time.
Document waivers, variances, and deferrals; ensure proper approvals and follow-up.
Collaborate with Maintenance and Operations to resolve equipment issues and reduce recurrence.
Improve the integrity program for efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
Support Process Safety Management (PSM) documentation and VelocityEHS upkeep.
Participate in PHA reviews, safety investigations, incident analysis, and root cause evaluations.
Identify hidden failures, control deviations, and process safety risks.
Ensure compliance with IGGNs, provincial/federal regulations, and INEOS safety principles.
Prepare and maintain electrical permitting and compliance within Ontario regulatory frameworks.
Provide technical guidance to Operations and Maintenance teams (E/I technicians, millwrights).
Train staff on IGGNs, process control strategies, and best practices.
Support troubleshooting, production planning, and daily operations.
Assist with outage/turnaround planning, controls scope development, and safe execution.
Ensure project work aligns with engineering specs and plant standards.
Oversee contractors and service providers, ensuring cost, quality, and safety compliance.
Manage material procurement, staging, and project documentation.
Coach and guide plant personnel in process control and integrity practices.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
Support adherence to HR policies, Collective Bargaining Agreement, and company standards.
Maintain a positive, collaborative work environment.
This role reports directly to the Asset Manager. No Direct Reports.
Daily: Asset Manager, Operations Superintendent, Maintenance Coordinator, Operations staff, E/I Technicians, Millwrights
As Needed: Engineering, Safety, Supply Chain, Sales, Contractors, Regulatory Agencies
