Job description
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead structural design and specification across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
  • Manage project delivery including time, cost, quality, and resources.
  • Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with British Standards, Eurocodes, and CDM regulations.
  • Mentor engineers and technicians, supporting their development and performance.
  • Contribute to bids, tenders, and client proposals.
  • Engage in business development through client meetings, networking, and industry events.
  • Support SER certification processes (if applicable).
What We’re Looking For
  • Chartered Engineer (ICE or IStructE).
  • Proven experience managing teams and delivering complex structural projects.
  • Strong technical design and specification skills.
  • Familiarity with structural software such as TEDDS, Tekla, and MasterSeries.
  • SER Certification (or working towards it) – desirable.
  • Eligibility for UK security clearance – desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
