ROLE OVERVIEW

Mariner is seeking a skilled and motivated Power Platform Consultant to join our team in Halifax. This hybrid role requires onsite presence three days a week and offers the opportunity to work on an impactful project with our client. You will leverage the Microsoft Power Platform – Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI – to design, build, and optimize business solutions that drive digital transformation.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE
  • Build custom Power Apps tailored to specific business needs.
  • Design and manage workflows using Power Automate.
  • Create and maintain Power BI dashboards for data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and translate them into solutions.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 and third‑party tools.
  • Provide troubleshooting, support, and end‑user training.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Power Platform features and best practices.
WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU'LL NEED TO DO THE JOB
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field – or equivalent professional experience.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Experience working with Microsoft 365 services and integrating third‑party applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in the utilities industry is an asset.
  • Certifications such as SAFe®, PMI‑DASM™, CSM, or ITIL are considered assets.
